“Kuhleborn — Revisiting the Thames, 2007” canoe trip down the Thames River, from the forks of the Thames to Lighthouse Cove on Lake St. Clair.
The journey, commemorating that of London artists Paul Peel and William Lees Judson 130 years earlier in 1877, took 22 artists nine days and eight nights to complete.
During the 2007 trip, almost 3,000 photos, sketches and countless notes were taken. The artists are planning to participate in the Canadian Heritage River System Celebration for 2009. They are eager to share their slides and stories with communities along the Thames.
