  1. Dave Little’s advice, Lower Thames Conservation Authority

Bring them in along River Road and flow them around the loop.
There will be too many to go down to the end where they can park and access the river.
Will need people to direct and control traffic.
There is parking by the washrooms. 2 Women’s toilets. 1 Men’s toilet with 2 urinals. Plus privies.

That’s a lot of people so possibly, it could be an optional Wardsville stop for the nature lovers. Others could visit the churches, Dave’s cafe, the park. Maybe a dispersed activity focussing on the Wardsville area. What about shopping at McNaughton’s if it is open?

  2. Robin Harvey, London Free Press.

Tour is going to Wallaceburg and hitting Wardsville on the return.
Have a parking area where people go (ball park).
Attendants with map or details on where people can go. Include information about Your Wardsville project, history, details or the area

    Map of activities:
    e.g. Wardsville Museum
    treats at churches
    Dave’s Cafe
    location of bathrooms
    activities/displays at Community Hall

    Second (optional stop)
    Big Bend Conservation Area
    Flow people around the loop.
Many may not do it as they will be tired and heading for home.

Some people do the trip in reverse.

  3. How about a Heritage Tree tour of the old growth trees along the streets of Wardsville? Many people haven’t seen a Tulip tree or a Shagbark Hickory, never mind seeing ones of great size around town!
