With a number of upcoming festivals, opportunities to visit historical places, cultural events, unique shopping experiences, or simply spending the day at a local farm, there certainly is no shortage of things to do in Middlesex County!

The promotion will run through to November 12, 2010. Take the Middlesex Challenge. Tell them about the places you’ve visited in the County and you could win weekly prizes.

Enter online at www.middlesextourism.ca. Listen to 105.7 myFM to win. Contestants must be over 19 years of age to participate.

One lucky winner will win the grand prize: one‐night accommodations at the historic Clock Tower Inn in Strathroy, a gift certificate from the Duke of Earl Pub, one hundred Strathroy Downtown Dollars and two season passes for Delaware Speedway!

I have entered. I submitted an entry about the fun I had installing barn quilts in Wardsville. Wow. What a staycation. It was cute, because a car load of wild women over 80 years young, followed Tom McCallum’s installation team around for the entire evening. They watched us put up 4 quilts.

For a complete list of prizes, visit www.middlesextourism.ca. Get out and discover what there is to see and do in your own backyard, then be sure to tell Middlesex Tourism about your experiences!
